• The communications department at Sacred Heart is developing into a really nice program. We have been given the opportunity to work with state of the art equipment and receive a hands on experience of broadcasting by allowing students to have their very own radio talk shows. I am new into the program so I am unaware of the course load and curriculum, but I do hear that we have great and fun Professors in the program who truly have a passion for the major.

• Being a first year, so far my course load was through the roof, but at the end of the day it was manageable. The work itself is only tough if you don't study and try to understand the context. My professors were great for my first semester of classes. They were helpful, challenging, and did offer extra credit. The majority of the students come in as Health Professions majors (Athletic Training, Physical Therapy), so the pre-requisite course would be the "Concept in Bio" which was a very challenging class for freshman year. Other than that, the professors were reasonable, allowed office hours and taught the material well.

• The workload is laughable, the classes might as well be taught out of a textbook. There are mediocre job/internship opportunities. All of the "work studies" are minimum wage and god-awful hours and only a few hours a week.

• My answer for this is the same as my answer to the previous question.

• FILM MAJOR- I am very mad about the school charging to use the library. I mean, we are already students and now we have to pay for this too? Not happy about it, and We have to pay for infrastructure as well. Not nice !!!
